Open your profile menu
Open the Instagram app and go to your profile. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top right corner.

Go to Accounts Center
In the Settings menu, tap Accounts Center at the top under "Your account".

Find "Your information and permissions"
In Accounts Center, scroll down to Account settings and tap "Your information and permissions".
Then tap "Download your information".
Tap "Your information and permissions"
Select your Instagram account, choose "All time" for date range, and JSON as format.

Download your data
After requesting, Instagram will prepare your data. This usually takes up to 48 hours.
You'll receive a notification and email when ready. Go back to this screen and tap "Download" to save the ZIP file.
Tap Download when your file is ready
The download expires in 4 days. Download it as soon as you get the notification.
