On Facebook, tap your profile picture in the top right, then tap Settings & privacy → Settings.

Go to Accounts Center
Tap Accounts Center (same as Instagram — it's Meta's unified settings).
Then tap "Your information and permissions".

Download your information
Tap "Download your information" → "Download or transfer information".
Select your Facebook account, then choose "Complete copy" or select specific categories.
Choose JSON format and "All time" for date range for best analysis results.

Download when ready
Facebook will notify you when your export is ready (usually 24-48 hours).
Go back to Download your information and tap "Download" to save the ZIP file.
The download link expires after a few days. Download it as soon as you get the notification.
